New ES300 & Remote Car Starter

Dont forget to have a professional do it. He will have to call the alarm company or some other place and getting a wiring digram and other lock/unlocking and engine wire information. phew. Ive seen 1 remote start on a Lexus, but it was also getting a full blown alarm, and it had problems. So please get a local reputable shop that have done a few. And make sure the senior tech installs it.

Not that serious
You can install a remote starter without all those phone calls....its only complex if you want to have it programed into your current remote for the Lex...If you go with a separate remote it will work fine....it just simulates the voltage during a start.
One wire to ACC power, one to Starter + wire, one to IGN + wire, one to Batt constant +, Ground to body, One wire from unit through fire wall to spark plug wire (wrap around spark plug wire) or wire to tachometer wire), wire to brake +, and BAM there you go ......
All these wires can be found right behind your lower dash where you turn the key....May sound complex but its not...
I have one on mine and all I gotta do is unarm the alarm and start her up remotely and she's cool......Installed myself....and been workin fine for over a year now...

I don’t think the installation is the problem, but when you want you car started you want it the alarm to be on right, well when you start it your factory alarm is still on and doesn’t know what’s happening and will go of honking horns flashing lights and all trust me I have been there so install is easy but getting it to work well with your car is just a little tricky but not to bad.
