Default 01 ES3 Rear Sub

Hi, the stock sub in the rear on my car is working but i wanted to get a little more thump out of the bass. I know the thump is limited due to where the sub is mounted in the rear window bay, it can only fit a 8" sub, I also can't put a box around the sub. So I was looking around and I am not sure what the stock amp in the car behind the glove box supports.... This is the sub I was looking at,

The question that I have is, does anyone know if the amp can support this sub.

I'm not sure if it's compatible (if someone could please say one way or the other) but Elemental Designs makes a subwoofer upgrade kit for the GS rear window woofer.
