alarm going off random! HELP
so last night i was sitting on my computer and heard my alarm going off so i went outside and i unlocked my car and when i opened the door the indicator lights (CIL, AIRBAG, etc.) were faintly coming on/flashing and the ding noise was going off like when you slide the key into the ignition but the key was in my hand
i eventually just took off the B+ cable from the battery off and let it sit over night and have to do that every time i have the car sit when locked.
now i have RFI (radio frequency interference) when my stereo is on, but now im getting it when the stereo is off... that hasn't happened until now...
im pretty stumped on what it could be.

Hello,
I had this problem on my lexus about a year ago. It was the switch located on the front passanger side door. When you open or close your door there is a switch it hits to indicate whether the door is open or closed. After figuring out it was that switch I disconnected it and the problem went away. Sadly though i droped the wire to the switch behine the metal frame so i probably wont be able to recover it easily if i tried, but if thats the case i think the dealerships sell switches(if thats the problems) for like 27 bucks. I dont quit remember how i knew it was the door switch but it could have been that when i shut the door it still showed on my dash that it was open, good luck!
