Where will you place your front plate with 2014 F-Sport

A front plate in CA is the law. HOWEVER, depending on the county, it may not be enough to be pulled over as it mostly considered as a secondary offense. Meaning, if a CHP pulls you over for dark tints (perfect excuse for probable cause) or expired registration, he may as well cite you for no front plates. BUT...if you park on a city/state owned parking lot (example the airport), you may be cited for a no front plate by the meter maids.
One option (if you want to roll the dice) is to leave the dealer temporary tag on your windshield in hopes it can serve as a "decoy".

*knock on wood* I've gone 15 years without a front plate on about 10+ cars among family in CA.
CA is not that strict... but that's just me, I will never put a front plate on my car, it's just the single most ugliest thing one can do to a car.
I even told my Lexus dealer if they put a plate on my car, I will not take delivery

I have a very similar setup for my other car, whenever I need to have it "corrected". Otherwise, it mostly sits in the trunk.

I was really considering the tow hook method of mounting my license plate in the front. I went the more economical way and decided to use the zip tie method for now. Only cost me a couple bucks at home depot and I was able to mount it on the lower area. Just make sure that the license plate sits level.. if you decide to use the zip ties anyway.

i've gotten caught twice in about 15 years. both times were fix it tickets. last time i just used double sided tape and mounted the thing and had the PD sign off on it. after it was cleared i removed it.
i continue to leave off front license plates to this day.
