Passenger seat "clicks" and noises 2012 F Sport....??
I do a lot of driving for my occupation, which means I'm generally alone in the car with no passenger. Over my first 15k miles on the car I have noticed the most annoying clicking type noises coming from the passenger seat when I hit any type of little bump, pop hole, dip in the road. Basically with no passenger anytime the suspension is working it makes the noises. Lexus tried to tighten everything early this week and still nothing. The only way I can physically replicate this annoying sound is with a quick punch to the back of the seat and the recoil type noise will happen again. Anyone with full suspension notice this issue?? Lexus is blaming it on my stiff ride, but my suspension is all OEM so I fell there is no excuse. The sound is never there with a passenger weight.

Man it's not just me then.
I have a 2011 CT200h Premium with just 21k miles. I am like you and have a commute to work alone and my passenger seat has been annoying as heck.
As you stated, I do the exact same thing to replicate the noise - I just punch the seat and hear the recoil/clicking noise. I've always thought it was the door, but nope. It's the dam seat!
I haven't taken it in yet, but it doesn't look good even if I do...

Don't know about the US spec CT, but I had the same problem in the PH and kinda solved it by removing all plugs and plug mounts under the seat and stuffing them with whatever (masking tape, cardboard strips from cereal box, etc) to make them really tight.

I wonder if this is also why the new 2013 has power passenger and not the cheap manual like I have. Anyone know if the passenger seat on all 2013's come standard with power?

I've had the same problem for almost 2 years and heard the noise as early as a 1000 miles or so. Lexus spent two days on it dismantling the seat and getting a third party involved and noise went away for a few weeks until it returned and I've lived with it ever since. It is the manual seat and indeed it goes away with a punch of frustration temporarily or if someone is seated. 
Chezgk, any pics to show the plugs you're referring to? I'm willing to try anything hopefully without having to remove the seat.

Will try to take pictures when I can. No seat removal necessary, just those plugs directly under the seat cushion that includes the sensor for the car to determine if there's a passenger on that particular seat. Grab 'em plugs and stuff cereal box strips everywhere. Solved 80% of the problem for me. Other 20% comes from the seat hinge itself when unoccupied.

Hey guys, first post. I just bought a 2011 CT200h with 24500 miles. I just figured out today what the "springing metal" sound was over certain bumps. As you have all posted it's the passenger seat, and I can recreate it by just hitting the seat. Pretty silly. Oh well, I don't feel too bad about it since if anyone else is in the car it won't happen. I'm glad it wasn't the door like I thought it was, because those kinds of rattles are much harder to fix. For what it's worth, this only happens every once in a while, for most bumps the car is rock solid. I've also had this on other cars as well. My 2002 Miata Special Edition with leather seats had the same exact thing, I think it was actually worse.
