my wife is the expert on "perm" issues.
just kidding.. try this, unhook the battery from your car.
hook it again after 2-5 minutes.
What this will do, is give the system a hard reboot.
Normally, it will solve the problem.

That isn't a good idea for Hybrids with all the computers and stored information. Plus there is the traction batteries and the 12 volt battery. Better solution is go to the dealer and have them check it.

sorry but that is not normal at all. i have never seen that message or screen before on my nav. i have a burnt CD a few years old in my disc changer also.
it's good you took a picture in case you can't recreate it on the spot at the dealer.

I also have never got that message and for it to do it while driving and 4 times already means to me that there is a electrical or Stereo head unit problem. Go to your Dealers Service dept. as soon as you can as a short could drain your starting battery and leave you stranded.

The only explanation i can think of right now is..
during the install/update of the software, it was interrupted, preventing a 100% download or installation.
Now everytime the system reach that "corrupted" sector. it boots up!
A visit to the dealer is the BEST choice.

It's definitely a power interruption. Every time I disconnect the 12V battery at car shows, and then plug it back in later, it will pop this screen up. It's just a boot up sequence. Nothing major. But the circumstances surrounding why it pops up so frequently would probably be attributed to a short somewhere or a faulty 12 V battery. Good luck.
