HID Headlights
Can anyone tell me what is involved in switching to HID headlights instead of halogen? Is it a simple bulb swap or does it require rewiring and/or new parts?

Welcome. Noticed you were in GA, check out the SouthEast forum for meets!
In regards to your question its easy. You buy an HID kit, the HID bulb replaces the factory bulb. The bulb is connected to a small box that powers the bulb. You have to find a spot to put it and use two sided tape to keep it in place. Turn on the bulb and let it stay on for 20minutes to "Burn in".

We have tons of great HID vendors in our vendor forum and if you look we have a lighting forum with tons of answers.
