cool news. a ct-f with awd or rwd would definitely be awesome; the chassis can take it.

AWD is definitely possible but RWD is not. RWD would require a longitudinally mounted engine (like the IS, GS, LS). An AWD hybrid setup like the RX450h or Highlander would be awesome, though. That uses the gas/electric hybrid drivetrain for the front wheels and only an electric motor for the rear wheels. Very clever setup, IMO.

I'd personally be all about a CT350 (non-hybrid 2GR-FE). Just give me a 6MT and we'll have two CTs in the driveway: a 40mpg hybrid and a 30mpg hot hatch.

as slegacy would say - 2.5l direct injected valvematic ZR series engine from next gen Camry would do great!

although personally 2.0l with bigger battery draw/hp would be better.... question is would people paying 3k more for setup that loses few mpg and goes 0-60 in 8s or so.

generally with CT200h doing so well globally (Spanish Lexus sales went up 112%), i think it definetly opens up possibility of CT250h or CT300h.

I think Toyota should aim more at Acura and the TSX, throw something like the Corolla XRS motor (180hp) in the CT without the hybrid and sell it for less money.

A beefier hybrid sounds like a good idea, but IMO the trade off in mileage won't be worth it.

I think I remember an interview where someone from lexus said that if the CT200h had strong sales ... they would strongly consider adding more engine options...

But I totally forgot where I read/saw that now

I would love to see a CT F......drop the 3.5 in there!

I could see Lexus adding another variant to the CT line. CT 300h would be most likely since Lexus will bring out an ES 300h...

Got me thinking. Maybe after Lexus showcases the LF-Gh in New York the next concept vehicle could be the LF-Eh (ES 300h)...or an LF-Ih

Wow, really? I wish there was a timeline or something on this. I've already been waiting a month is the CT200... maybe I could wait year for the 300.

a CT300h would be awesome...hopefully, the mileage numbers wouldn't suffer too much. Hope they offer a better set of colors like they have in Australia (Bright blue) and some F options!
