Default Ct bumper Question

i was on a little vacation in arizona and some guy hauling a boat hit my car while i was parked.

so my question is... what bumpers for what years are compatible with a 2013 CT. if i can i would like to get a 2016 fsport bumper.

another thing, i want a direct swap i dont want to have to buy anything else for it to fit.

thanks in advance.

I can't answer the fitment question -- but have you attempted to pop that out? It's amazing how the cover can recover if it's not cut. Often they require a bit of heat from behind. Buff out the paint.

The paint from the factory is superior in durability to that given in a body shop.

I haven't tried. I'm getting paid out pretty well for the accident. So either way I'm gonna get a new bumper but I just need to know about fitment

buy a heat gun, and pop that out. pocket the cash. get those marks buffed off.

if you want the best fitment, you'll have to go to a dealership and get OEM. you should be able to purchase a 2016 from your local lexus. anything aftermarket will need work done to it.

I was already wanting to get the 2016 front and rear bumpers for my ct, this just made it possible for me. I could pop it out but I actually really like the spindle grill. Just wanted to make sure the 2016 bumper is compatible without having to buy anything else.

It's a CT Hybrid ... not a Porsche TT ... fix the bumper and buy some shares of exxon/ mobil. I think there maybe three people on the planet that would actually notice the bumper change .. one being you.

Bought it at $75 a few months ago .. time will tell. I don't think oil will be $40 bucks in 5 years. I own two hybrids and will buy another ... so you know my thinking.

The CT is a nice little car -- it's an appliance. I was willing to spend a bit more for it ... because I know it will get me to 150k with no issues and still be worth something ... plus I get the Lexus ownership perks.

I'm surprised how much our 2011 Prius are worth at 140k -- with almost no out of pocket expenses. One of the Prius was hit on the third day we owned it (White Pearl)-- rear bumper. I took the bumper off and hit it was a heat gun ( I had ordered a few of the clips). It had one edge damaged .. now covered by the OE mudguards that I installed.

If you get to them quick with a heat gun they bounce back -- and the OE paint is very flexible ... and you know it will match. Repainted bumpers don't hold up as well.
