dealership or indipendenat mechanic referral in S. Orange County
Hi guys/gals -
I live in Dana Point, CA and work in S. Irvine. I'm looking for a good, affordable dealership or mechanic for routine maintenance. Our 2006 LX470 is rapidly approaching 10,000 miles and Newport Lexus wants $225 for what amounts to an oil change and tire rotation.
Unfortunately, I'm not the least bit mechanically inclined so I'm not realistically going to do the work myself. But I'm not a fan of getting hosed like that.
I've called my old Toyota dealer in Rancho Santa Margarita (used to work on our old RX300 for about half the cost of Lexus Mission Viejo) but I haven't heard back if they'll still work on Lexus vehicles. Unfortunately many (including Family Toyota which is less than a mile from my house) Toyota dealers won't work on Lexus anymore because of hassles with warranty headaches.
I'm open to taking the LX or our LS to a good independant mechanic if one was recommended. My only constraint is distance. I know there's a very reputable shop in Monrovia but that's a really long haul for me (even Huntington Beach is more than an hour).
Thanks in advance.

Although I have not been there, many seems to recommend Dynamic Auto and they are in the OC.

Thanks Dung but that's a bit out of my way. I appreciate the response; however.
