So as time passes I have decided it's time to register the website address. We can register www.chicagolexusclub.org or we can go for something else.

I do not like the developments of www.chicagolexusclub.com (originally my idea too). It turns out to be a form of an advertizing website. Some people wanting to visit our website could mistakenly visit www.chicagolexusclub.com insted and fall into the advertizing shame; therefore, our website would give business to someone else. What do you guys think?

Should we go on with www.chicagolexusclub.org or think of some other posibilities?

Both websites would be in violation of Lexus trademark since there is a word "Lexus" in it. Lexus wouldn't do anything about us since we're a non-profit organization of Lexus owners (who in a way promote Lexus brand name) unlike www.chicagolexusclub.com.
