Anyone know where to buy "Lexus" caliper stickers?
My calipers are looking horrid and I want to cover them with Lexus caliper stickers in either silver or gold.
I was wondering where I can find these stickers. There's a place in the UK that sells 5 for $15 but I'd prefer something in the US (lower shipping costs).
thanks!!

Xenon, check the calipers out to make sure the stickers will fit. Unlike the GS and IS that have a flat surface to put the sticker on, the ES caliper has a partially open back that reveals the back of the brake pad. I painted mine silver ('96 ES) to look better behind open spoke wheels (need to find the sync cable so I can upload the pics from the digicam ). There's an angled part that the stickers may fit on, I wish I had a pic so I could point it out.
There was a guy in the US selling the stickers on a Yahoo! store. I remember the thread from last summer when I first joined CL. Run a search on this site and you should be able to find them. Ask the vendor for exact measurements, then check against the space on the car. If you'd like, I could measure mine, since they're fully exposed behind my new rims.

Squarehat makes a good point that I didn't think about. I think to be on the safe side I'm going to go ahead and spray them black.
BTW, a few of my Bimmer and Saab driving friends claim that caliper paint peels through use in salt/snow during the winter. Is this true in all cases or specific to the surfaces of calipers in Bimmers and Saabs?
Thanks for the help!!!

I've never heard any reports of the paint peeling during winter. I could see the decals peeling, though. If you do go the decal route, be sure to seal them with at least two coats of high-temp clear.
I could only find white stickers on that site, although if you're painting the calipers black that's perfect. No dimensions listed, either, so I don't even know if I could fit them on an ES caliper.
