They need to target Summer or Spring for this LC 500.. Summer 16' the car won't be ready..
So, it will go on sale hopefully early 2017 as a MY18
Had they debuted this car next year at NAIAS, it would then go on sale the following month or two. Not enough time in between.. Plus NAIAS is the biggest of shows for World Debuts..
Can't wait to see the Final Version of the Standard Glass Roof (opposed to the optional CF)

Will they make a TT V6 or V8 version LC F -> Will be waiting a bit longer to find that out for sure..
Lexus is slowing moving off the NA platforms.. So we will see larger Turbo versions of the V6 and maybe the V8's ..
The 4 cycl 200 T motor is only the beginning.. First Debuted in the NX, now already moved into IS, RC & GS as examples in the USA

Nobody really talk about the engine. It is so nice to have the dual intake Inlet that help the engine produce louder sound when the car start. Hopefully the 10 speeds will shift faster than the 8speeds . Lexus RCF probably get update to 10speeds at the mud cycle refresh.

I wish they had the concept designers at kelty do the actual car. They also designed my favorite lexus, the SC 400.
Except for that grille and the over designed headlights it looks goooood.
I really love the interior with the exception of the steering wheel which looks like more spokes and buttons than grip.

A bit of trivia... Calty also contributed to the design of the 4GS interior, which is also quite nice.

Yeah I really wish they had called it the SC, as it really is a spiritual sucessor to the original SC. Both cars, in 1991 and in 2016, they really are beautiful, futuristic designs that nobody had ever seen anything like that before.
Going back to 1991-1992, you have to remember how squarely styled and overly chromed luxury cars were back then. About the only other thing that looked even remotely futuristic at that time was the BMW 850i.

I've always been a fan of the Lincoln Mark series, back from their land yacht glory days in the 60's/70's. I loved the Mark VII too, that was another revolutionary design for its time as well. The Mark VIII, well its like the designer was that sociopath kid who melted ants with a magnifying glass. The Mark VIII looks like a melted Mark VII, hate that car with a passion(its horrible interior didn't help matters)

When that first LS400 launched back in 1989 it did rather look like the only thing Lexus was missing was a bit of history, a little mythology to call its own. With cars like the LFA behind it, it is now time to move on, move forward and out of the shade of the European brands; the LC500 is way too striking to fit inside anyone’s shadow.

This is the most positive the press has been about a Lexus product since the LFA. It's kind of a shame that it's over a year away. Hopefully, they will tease or release more info on the LC 500h and the LC-F.

Yea, the press is crazy, the LC is so sexy that those who typically comment on the more negative side about the spindle grill leaves the grill as an afterthought.
