Am I crazy or was there ever a Tesla $400 month business lease?

I believe they once tried to say that there was a lease that would be the "equivalent" of $400 once you factored in gas savings, etc. But no, to my knowledge they have never offered a $400 month lease, at least not without some sort of crazy amount down.

I was kinda right, you had to factor it gas savings and tax savings. Payment was really like $1,000 a month

Initially they even factor in the time you save from having to go to the gas station, 2 or 3 times a month at $100 a hour, $1000 out of pocket minus this and that, wa la, your effective payment is $400 a month

I just got off the phone with the sales lady (very polite, not pushy but at the same time knowledgable)
She told me for the standard 85 model, based on the options I picked, it would be just over $1100 month for a 3 year lease with 15k miles per year. Dammit
There goes my dream for a $400/month lease
Shoot I love the car and would love to skip the gas pump completely but that is easily M5 / RS7 price range, very hard to justify, how do people justify paying $100k for a Tesla?

The Fiat 500e has ZERO demand for the car, and is heavily incentivized to reach that $84 payment. Tesla, with its strong demand, has no need to throw incentives on the car. Incentives in the terms of cash off the car or the boosted residual value. Same goes for the BMW i8. This bucks the trend of any of the mainstream electric/plug in vehicle offerings. Tesla has made having an electric car somewhat desirable and the new "it" thing for technology and eco-greenies alike.

Payment = the same.
I dream of a brand new LaFerrari for $20k too, it is certainly possible. I need to come up with a scheme like Stefan Eriksson to lease one, ship it out of the country and then stop payment on it. It worked for Stefan until he splitted the car in half and had to wear an orange jumpsuit

Fiat sold 100 of their 500e's in a week out here and then ran out of supply. I would not say the car has zero demand considering in our work area, I see more than a fleet of them scattered around the parking lot.
Yes I understand the demand is not like a Tesla and they have no incentives to discount a high demand car but it most certainly is possible to attain a $400 / month car payment. Right now Tesla is around $700 monthly for their base model.

just because of same msrp doesn't mean payment the same, it all depends on how they play the numbers. a lot of people must have forgotten about the maserati ghibli deal towards the end of last year. the car is what, 70-80k msrp? lease deals were in the 600s. a similar ls460 would run you north of 900
but of course, in this case of tesla, i don't see why they need to have incentives in the lease deals
