its not reinforced, its difficult to break tempered glass with a rock, smart thieves use a screwdriver or ice pick. Have to apply sharp pressure not blunt force. You can throw porcelain fragments from a spark plug and shatter tempered glass when a big rock doesnt always work.

By "Reinforced" I meant that some upmarket cars (and I wouldn't be surprised if this also includes the E-Class) use double-paned glass....in addition to the tempering process you note.
Oh, that was a good laugh! Just getting to eat dinner while away from home so that lifted my funk. Thanks.
For the record if I came out and saw the guy passed out next to the vehicle with a brick next to him, I'd wake him up and hit him again with the brick.....
It looks like a C class coupe so its not double pane, but yes it is very difficult to break glass on a cars. Thieves should invest in those picks you use when you drive into a lake

I almost said this was an E-Class coupe (C207), but wow I can't even tell. They are both based on the W204, but never did I realise such similarities to the C-Class coupe (C204).

LOL! Basically saying "Bug off kid, we're in the middle of a stare-down here".

it's also likely that most people passed out in front of a pub aren't that way because of a brick.

haha yeah its a close call. I don't see the two separated headlights of the E, but rather the narrower swoop of the refreshed C.
