Older JGCs like the 2011 SW13GS had were also problematic, but newer ones in the last couple of years seem to be showing improvement. And, while I don't want to put words in anyone's mouth, I think we can be reasonably sure that bit will take good care of his, and service it properly.

Hey...I know I sure would if I owned one. The JGC is a NICE vehicle.....arguably my second-favorite Chrysler product, next to an AWD Chrysler 300 or a Hemi Charger/Challenger R/T painted in one of the retro 1970 bright colors. (I grew up with the original Charger/Challengers in high school)

that's my assessment. the '14 switched to the 8 speed zf auto which had some software glitches to start, but they seem to have released a flurry of software updates for it to smooth it out. mine's perfectly smooth so far.

yes, one thing that's nice is it came with first two years of all maintenance included.

praised indeed coming from one so learned, thanks! i'm definitely enjoying it so far. there's a bit more tire noise than i expected, but the tires are wide (265's all around) and maybe when i eventually switch to michelins they will be quieter. but overall the vehicle is quieter than my explorer for sure.

anyway, hopefully jeep's overall rankings will improve - they're certainly selling a load of 'em!
