however, for the function of the car and price I believe its somewhat okay. if you want the luxury of the 350, upgrade to the infiniti g35, same engine only bigger car and WAYY more luxurious inside!
i drove my buddies 350z and a daily slammed was definitely uncomfortable

interior is definitely a flaw to the 350z. everything is plastic!

Z34 is so ugly that I never test drove it, but I have test driven the G37 coupe and yes they make it more refined.

To me, the best of the Z cars was the Z32 TT and if they really want to keep the Z tradition they better not go with a 4 cylinder, that's what the 240sx was there for, bring the 240 back then. They gotta go with a v6 or inline 6 and definitely go with a Twin Turbo again. They need to compete with cars like the Mustang and Camaro and for that, a 3.5 Twin Turbo could do great... a 3.7 Twin Turbo could be a beast. And I agree that maybe they should go back to the lines of the Z32 and then I'd definitely look into getting one.

I personally think the 370 interior is fine. The Z now has more direct competition (which is good) so I think Nissan needs to reposition the car for the next generation. And let's not forget that Nissan now has the GTR in the US lineup, a situation that the older Z never had to deal with. True, there's a huge gulf between the Z and the GTR but I think the next Z has to make sense in relation to that.

Not true for the Z33 vs, G35 coupe, I've test driven both and owned a G35 coupe 6MT(more sport- tuned than the Auto version), they are very close to notice much difference at all.

Please share the impression of Z as a DD. I've always liked the Z, but am fearful of how uncomfortable it can be as a DD. I test drove the current BMW Z4 and found it intolerable even just a quick circle around the dealership.

370Z is a big step up from 350Z in the inside. It's not really harsh, it just feels right for a sport car. I personally think it's comfortable, the only problem I have with 370Z is the noise.

The 370Z is bouncy in mid-corners if it hits a rough patch of road. I know this because I own one. The interior is fine for its price point. In fact, I find the 370Z's interior better looking than a Porsche Cayman/Boxster and the Z is much cheaper than the Porsches. The Porsches' interior is a sea of plastic which is ridiculous considering their asking prices.
