I like white but someone told me she used to get hit often because people couldn't see her That kind of scared me away. I'll stick with tungsten pearl, thank you. It doesn't show dirt and swirls like other colors.

Not necessarily. Depends on the circumstances. An auto-salesman once offered me more than KBB for my old (bright-yellow) Lexus IS300. Of course, he knew me, and knew how I had taken care of it...he wasn't getting a piece of junk. (I also got some good offers privately).

White looks good on certain cars but on some they look like rental cars to me. IMO no other company dose Pearl white like Lexus, the paint look like a custom paint job!

But White especially with the Pearl paints are just awesome!
I HIGHLY recommend getting some IronX or Iron Cut and use that before you clay any car. This stuff works so well, it will make claying a breeze because most (or all) of the iron (those annoying orange rust dots) is removed by the chemicals.

I think white and silver are the easiest to clean, having too many black cars I just got tired of cleaning black paint. Shinning black looks good but it only last a day.

Granted Lexus does it well, but have you checked out the Audi, Infiniti, and Cadillac Pearl-Whites? They were the companies that started and perfected it.

This is very true. I have a white Saturn and the car looks great from far away. You can't see swirls or scratches, but you can see all of the tree sap and tar that has bonded into the paint.

Having a white car can be nice since I don't have to wash it all the time like I do with my black GX and SC.

I love the color as 3 out of 5 of my cars, counting my gs300, are/were white. However, I love the way a the 2nd gen gs looks in black too!

It still boggles my mind that Lexus offered yellow on any car. Too bad they don't do something like that currently. Toyota doesn't even offer yellow on the FJ, Corolla, Yaris, and Tacoma..4 products that have competitors that offer yellow.

Holy crap. When did they stop offering the Yellow on the FJ? That's pretty ridiculous. That and voodoo blue are the classic colors for that car. Now the color palette is much too bland for the car. (says the guy with the black diamond FJ )

I recently bought the IS-350 in USB Mica with flare red interior. Love it. But white looks sharp as well.
