Nothing like a nice "contractor white" car or truck to spice up your life a bit.

White always reminds me of a rental car. Bummer.

I dream in color, therefore my cars are colorful.

Modern cars are definitely looking much better in white. With all of the character lines and dark roofs, they tend to show off the design much better than most colors. Also, the trend with darker colored wheels makes white cars look even better.

Wasn't green the best selling color during the '90s? It certainly seems that way. Those Emerald/Turquoise-ish greens are prevleant on a lot of cars during that era. How the mighty have fallen.

And the top 4 color choices we like are just sad.

I wonder if white tops out silver due to the fact that most commercial vehicles(vans, pick-up trucks, etc.) are white 9 out of 10 times....
We all think of just our personal cars, but this study is for all cars sold in the USA.

I love pearl white, but plain white is just blah

While white paint may not necessarily affect the actual sale price of the vehicle out the door at the dealership, plain refrigerator-white (not the oyster/pearl white) is probably the most profitable color for the manufacturers, not counting extra-cost colors. That is because plain, non-textured white is the easiest and cheapest color to prepare and apply at the factory.....no tints/pigments (which add color) are needed, and the paint-guns are easier to clean when refilling them with a new color. So, in general, the vehicle can be painted at less-expense than any other color.....though the individual cost per vehicle is not that much.

You can tell I am a white car fan. However, for me it is car dependent. I think certain cars look better in white and the cars I have to me look best in white. For a daily drivers white is easy to maintain along with silver. My last daily driver was black and it was tough to keep clean and flaws stood out a lot. For sports cars I personally would never get white, just not a sports car color to me.

White, from what I'm guessing, is the most popular color in the Middle East.

LOL. All the cars in my entire family are white (SC, Caravan, Explorer) silver (S550, Tucson) black (FJ Cruiser w/ white roof). My mom is the exception... Sand Mica Camry.

Wouldn't mind getting a bold color car... but only on a lease. Probably easier to resell a popular color than bolder ones.

I love White but its a PITA to keep Clean (free of bonding contaminants).. Silver is so much easier to care for or atleast you can't see the contaminants as well..LOL

But White especially with the Pearl paints are just awesome!
