17/26 is better than what my 300hp 4.0L V8 gets, and my car was meant to be a normal passenger car. That's quite an advancement for the Mustang.

nice but $40,145 base price is a bit hard for me to swallow for a Mustang.

also ---- where's the first drive description?

That's what I was thinking. Back in 2000 I worked at Ford and bought a brand new loaded GT coupe for $23,000 OTD. Then again it only had 260hp. I know they are no where near the same car but for 40K I would get a used ISF

Maybe. But for some people nothing will do but a big, torquey Detroit V8 and you just ain't getting that with any IS.

Is it any worse than shilling out $60K for an IS (granted the IS-F)? - You're basically doubling the price for the high performance version.

In a couple of years, can get these Mustangs at a discount as well.

Serious fun, but in reality I don't want it that much, even with the deep discounts on top of regular discounts available to my immediate family.

Wow, theres so many variants of the Mustang these days. Is this one positioned between the Cobra model and the GT?

True, but if I load up a GT, I'm around $34K... and still nowhere near the Boss in handling, acceleration, looks... and yeah, I was thinking the same on first drive, must be live blog so need to go back to check on posts. I want to see the Comp Orange with black wheels in person.......... ....
