Not sure how many DFW residents there are here, but I just saw a TV commercial from DFW Acura, featuring the new Acura TL type-S. What caught my attention was that they misspelled "Brembo" in HUGE CAPITAL LETTERS, and to top it all off, the voice over actually said "Brembro brakes"... I had to pause my TiVo and rewind it to make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me! Now there's a way to grab the attention of auto enthusiasts... Did anyone else happen to catch this?
Since I work in TV and see a lot of commercial spots come in, it is amazing how many mistakes the advertising agency, or production company makes on spots. Some you can understand, but some are just too funny
That is embarrasing to be quilte honest, but I can't stop laughing at work. I mean, come on!!!!!!! I wonder if the new BREMBRO brakes are as good as the BREMBO brakes.
Wow. What's sad is the voice also reading it as "brem-bro". This deserves a triple egads
yup, what it means to me is that this was NOT, i repeat NOT, a typo on their side. whatever the advertising and quality control company, they really THINK it's brembro....
really sad i have to say.....
wait, or maybe they are coming out with a knock offs of brembo brakes?
