AUDI RS4 Cabriolet vs Mercedes CLK63 AMG Cabrio
Autobild: Audi RS4 / Mercedes CLK 63
Power: 420hp/481hp
0-100km/h Acceleration: 4.9 s/4.7 s
Top speed: 250 km/h/250 km/h
Transmission: 6 speed manual/7 speed automatic
Price: 82,900 euro/92,974 euro
The CLK 63 AMG has more torque, precise automatic transmission, comfortable and sufficient place for four. With the Audi although with less horse power is more sportier. It's better for curves and acceleration, requires a fast hand when changing and is the most dynamic choice.
Which do you prefer?

For some reason the CLK in convert form never really blew my skirt up - it looks goofy to me for some reason, especially the profile.
The coupe on the other hand is a different story entirely. I see a white CLK430 with the 18" AMG 5-spokes rolling around here occasionally and it still catches my eye, and I still say "wow that looks great" ...
The RS4 Cabrio looks fantastic but I still prefer the hardtop.
Bottom Line (for me): Given the horror stories I've read about the new 7-speed auto, I think this is a no brainer.

CLK63 for me. With these types of vehicles I would rather have an automatic and just cruise around in it. Has good looks and is much more classier. The RS4 seems to have lost some of its aggressiveness in the cabriolet version. Still looks good, but I would pass on it.
If performance was the main deciding factor I wouldnt even think of getting a convertible version of these cars (that also includes the M3 Convertible).
