I live in the USA my wife live in Montreal she is Canada Resident

1. Because i'm not a Canada Resident they said she cannot get Insurance even with the car register in her name
2. the car is register in My Wife name but because we are marriend and i live in the US and Have a USA DL they said she cannot get insurance cause i will be driving the car they only way i can be added to the insurance i would have to be a Canada resident and transfer over my license to Montreal

i dont get it and realy dont understand, we try over 6 different De-Janero agency, here is there question

A) 97 lexus
Q) who is the car register to
A) i gave them my wife name
Q) is she married
A) yes to me
Q) do you live together
A) no i live in the USA i'm just here Visiting
Q) do u have a Montreal License
A) no i'm just visiting i live in the USA
sorry because u guys are married and you dont have a valid canada license we cannot insure you

can someone reffer me to where i can get decent insurance we currently have insurance but we paying 3 time the cost and it expire in January
