The price seems decent but it's difficult to assess without having more info such as the overall condition of the exterior and interior; accidents; number of owners; local car; etc.
I think the '93 has the R12 refrigerant, which could make getting it recharged a challenge. (unless the AC has been converted to R134)
At 197,000 KM, it should be due fairly soon for the next timing belt change. Lexus charges about $1,300 for that job but you might be able to get it done a bit cheaper elsewhere.

Lol. Thanks Faymester.
Yes, you could also buy mine. I have a '97 SC4, white ext/tan int, no accidents, about 85,000 KM, great condition, garage kept....no rust
PM me if you're interested.

he is the second owner.
exterior is say 7.5/10
int is 7.5/10
he said there is rust forming there because of a accident that happend in the past and he was hit at the drivers side rear fender.
he said the AC was freon so im not if it has been converted...
tune up was done.
Waterpump, serpentine belt, timing belt, some pulleys, spark plugs were changed, he has the receipt of the parts but not labour.
he said some gauge lights are not working(how much is it to fix?)
front right and rear driver side fender have been painted.

you should be asking these questions in the SC forums on this board.
when i was looking for an SC before getting my GS, i was warned that the headlights leak and the gauge cluster goes kaput in high mileage examples... neither is cheap to replace (no repair possible).

supercharger kit run for around 2800-3200 just for the kit, depending if it's the m90 or m112 eaton supercharger, extra 1500 for headers and exhaust...all for maybe less than 100hp at the crank. Not worth it IMO unless you're going for a show car. There's a couple supercharger kits available on the b/s section and they have listed all the parts just to give you an idea

Gas needs to be premium of course...depending on how you drive, nice and slow would be about the same as a prelude (no joking). Or if you floor it often, you can actually see the gauge going down pretty quickly LOL. my last tune up bill was about $100 so I think that's fine.
the gauge lights can be modified to make it look better (lextech does them from anywhere around 150-400 depending service), or you can always get a new one from the junkyard, but try to get one with similar mileage.
Here is what I get to see every night, Isn't it pretty?
Jon's (JLSC) SC4 is probably the best value for money you can get right now, his car is really pristine. You can't go wrong buying his car. Although I'd rather you buy some other SC so we have more SCs in vancouver

read up on the sticky about cluster lighting on the sc3/4 forum...I believe they have a new CCFL backlight instead of the LEDs that mine were fitted with
