Default mission raceway

if there were a closer option than mission for a race way ... would you be more likely to go? and do you know people that would be likely to go?

mission raceway has a paved road corse... i've driven both their short track (in heavy heavy rain) and their full track (bone dry)... it was LOTS of fun... instructional track day, ofcourse.. run by the inside line... presented by terry chui...

would i go again? yes..
would i take my GS430 there? no...

i like driving light weight, nimble sports cars that rev to 9000rpms... my AE92 GTS with an AE111 engine it is...

hey narfy,

i guess there's lots of safety setups to ensure safe fun... how do u feel mission is setup? ie run off areas, etc... i'd love to go but u bring up a good point... i wouldn't necessarily want to bring my own car (my ONLY car) out there...

you wanna bring the car you know best... i've had my AE92 forever... i know it pretty damn well...

in mission, there is a pretty good run off area after the main straights... there's decent amount of room for error, but keep i mind, mission IS a short, technical track...

http://www.theinsideline.ca/

on the short track, in the heavy rain, when i had my old AE86, i did spin it out once, on turn 3... i completely faded the brakes on turn 1 at the end of the straight, and turn 2 requires some acceleration, and then when i finished turn 2, turn 3 is up right away, and i did not have the stopping power to slow my car down at all... so i lost it and spun off the track... lotsa fun tho...
