Anybody been or go to track events in Northern CA? Ive done the Russell Racing School at Laguna Seca YEARS ago in a formula Ford open wheel car but id like to check out getting involved in some of these open track days in the Lexus. Seems to be several different organizations that have track days at Sears Point or Laguna Seca. Id be interested in some more instruction based track time as opposed to just a couple hrs in a class and then cut loose on a track. Anybody have any input or recommendations?

 

I just completed a HPDE with NCRC at Laguna Seca. They ran a good, safe event and there were some great cars including a McLaren P1. I mainly go with Hooked on Driving. They're a little more expensive, but that keeps out the teenagers who have no experience, but sign up for the intermediate and advanced groups.
