Has Anyone Done a JDM 2JZ-GTE Swap in a SC300?
As the title says, I have a JDM 2JZ engine and am planning on dropping it in my car. So has anyone done this swap? I'll be doing it, and may keep the Auto trans, or do a CD009 swap (haven't really decided yet). I have an auto SC300.
From Supraforums:
Soooo I'm embarking on a new quest. I pulled the trigger on a JDM 2JZ-GTE VVTi engine. I'm tearing into now, hoping to add rods/cams/bolts Etc, pretty much everything short of a full rebuild. So I am hoping to get all the features I have PLUS the DBW and the VVTi to work on my Supra, with the VVTi obviously being much more important.
I got some diagrams and pinouts which really don't match my harness, so I'm wondering have any of you guys gotten these features to work with the Supra AND the Infinity?
You can see the VVTi OCV connector in the pic above (It's just a 2 pin solenoid). Here's the DBW connectors:
Starting to dig in more :-).
My question are making sure we have the proper inputs from the VVti OCV and DBW to the AEM box. Do you know, does this wiring diagram look accurate?
Any ideas or tips?

Thanks for the info! Yes, the aristo uses a cable, so I would need to do is adjust the length of the TB cable.
So as far as the Auto, how difficult is using the Aristo trans with the SC300? Is there a way to basically use the aristo harness and "merge" it with the SC harness? I'm probably going to use a standalone (infinity 6)
