Just a daily driver....in progress
Im not going to bore you with a long preview. I will just cut to the chase. I bought Isabelle back in 06 and had installed a bunch of jdm parts along with airrunner air suspension and custom wheels. I had parted her out to trade her for an IS350. Things took longer to part out and the economy kept falling into a black hole. I decided to keep Isabelle and have driven her stock for the past 5 years. I feel it is time to build her a little different than the last build.
Before going crazy with a build, i figured i would start with basic maintenance since it is my only car. She is also at 280k on the clock on original motor/tranny. I had bought a Toyota gasket kit, Gates timing belt kit and other misc stuff as well. My fuel pump just went out last week and that was an unexpected expenses that wasnt accounted for. It was a mess, since i had just filled the tank up to full. Learning experience is always fun
How she was when i bought her in 06. First mod was altezza visors
The look in 09. I dont have any good pics of the jdm headlghts and altezza mesh grill. But this is how she was sitting
How she was for the past 5 years
Current. 2.25" drop all around on Tanabe's

Catching this up with what i have done so far.
A couple months ago, i replaced the LCA #1 and LCA #2 with super pro poly bushings from Figs. My LBJ was knocking, so i ordered moog LBJ and front/rear end links from rockauto. 2 weeks ago, my fuel pump went out, so i also replaced that.

Thanks playa
I replaced my old FIGS hood props. They been shot for years and never got around to replacing them. Finally came up with some extra cash and bought new ones.
What i was using to keep the hood open.
I forgot how easy the hood opens with FIGS
