sc400 drift build
hey guys my apologies if this is the wrong place for this thread but I've recently decided to change the direction of my build for my 1992 sc400 after recently buying a 92 300.now that I've got a car for the street and with the revelation that ill need to pull the engine to do the oil pump i want to turn it into a drift build with that being said i wanted to do something different and I know it may anger the gods but I'm going to do it as cheap and dirty as possible. with that said my plans are to completely gut the interior and weld in a roll cage add a eBay turbo kit with a boost controller and some headers that wont melt at 6k rpm and weld the diff with a manual swap. on that note we come to my biggest problem at the moment (don't worry I know I'm going to have the much bigger ones later on) over the past couple weeks I've been looking for transmissions but I cant find a cd009 or w58 in my area and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to with the rise of g35 manual swaps however I've recently found a t45 for cheap and close by but reading through the forums I haven't found much info on running these with the 1uz.ik i can run a r154 but they are way out of the budget for this car and would honestly just be too nice. so if anyone has any experience doing this i would love to hear the process long with any recommendations for alternatives under a grand. thank you for your time and youre thoughts are well appreciated.

are you near Seattle? I'm sure there are many options, but a one-minute search turned up a CD009 near Seattle
