Wheels are still not mounted and its holding up the build. I should have them tomorrow there was a mix up and Nexen sent me 24s for the rear LOL. Its all good though and the project should be back on track next week.

It was some goodies from one of my new sponsors Kinetik Audio! They sent me a KHC1800 to put under the hood. A power converter and an KHC3800 monster power cell which weighs 87 pounds! So much for getting lighter in my trunk. These should really help my power hungry audio/video system. Thank you Kinetik Audio!

Went out to check on the car and was pretty disappointed with the progress or lack there of. I made it a point to let them know that time is getting short for the build and decided that I am going to get more involved with the overseeing of the project. So whats the hold up now you ask? Well the fender mods the body guy was waiting on approval to do the front as well as the rear. So now that he has my approval he will proceed. Should have the fenders done in two weeks.

He did spray a little of the paint on the door I guess to see how it will look. Overall it was a disappointing trip but I think we are on the same page now. A few pics of the "progress".

In the meantime does anyone have any ideas or tips on how to polish the intercooler? I assume that getting an intercooler dipped is not an option?

Ya you can't dip an intercooler but you can have it hi-polished. You just have to have the people doing it to make sure they tape off the fins and go slow where the slats are inbetween the fins.. I had a shop do mine than clear it in a tinted clearcoat to give it a blk chrome looking finish. In your case have them polish it and than clear coar it..

Is that the blue color your going with? I thought you were going for more of a vip look?

Thanks Adrian good to see you are still around. I am planning on going with a VIP look. I know there have been statements made about certain colors being exclusive or even required for a VIP car but in looking at all the VIP magazines and websites I don't see a car with color being excluded so I am going with my blue. If people won't accept it then oh well.

Looks good Mark,

What size tires did you choose for the front, maybe size smaller would help with clearance issues.

I had a 215/35/19 on a 9.5 before
