Hey guys,

I just got my new RX350 and i already scarred it.

Its nothing really big. The scratch is barely on the surface. I think it swiped against some tree branch leaving hairline scraches on the casing of the sidemirror.

Any remedies?

One of the rememdies I thought of was using a compound wax to buff it out.

I know that compound wax works well in removing small surface scratches on cars body, but im concerned whether it would work on the Side mirror casing(which is made of plastic).

Any advice would be appreciated.

Try Scratch-X with a clean microfiber applicator. Apply a small peasized amount onto the applicator and then buff in a circular motion with a passion. You should start seeing the scratch dissappear it if it not too deep. Repeat if necessary.
