I have a LS460 flier that refers to: “Hands free parking that pulls the car into a parking space.”
This is fascinating! How does it work?
Are there little midgets underneath just waiting to “raise up and push,” is there a caterpillar track, or what?
And, by the way, is the exterior appearance different on the 460 from the 430? If so, what are the noticeable changes? (I'm a NEW Lexus guy and don't know my Lexus cars very well yet.)
There are TONS of pics posted of teh LS460 that can be found in just about every thread in the LS460 forum. Lots of discussion about the self parking feature as well. Have a look, and welcome to Club Lexus by the way.
Auto Park feature is supposed to be optional on the LS460 and L models. I can't get my sources to confirm the feature being standard on the 600hL. considering it's the top dollar Lexus...I don't see why not.
