Just began to hear a deep creaking over large bumps, and am afraid it's what I've been putting off for so long, however the only ones I've found are around $250 each,X4,that's some dough!
Curious to know if anyone has done better, and where.

I'm curious where you found control arms for $250. I'need the lower front control arms because my bushings are shot, however I can't find them for less then $450.

DoubleWhoosh, do you know how much work is involved in replacing them? Thanks, also what are some recommandations for struts, I've got 135k on my ride, need new ones.

Actually it's not that hard.
2 main bolts to the crossmember
spindle nut
bracket to the strut
sway bar link
It's not loaded by any springs, so you can actually do it with only a floor jack pretty easily.
Struts we usually go with the Tokicos, no complaints yet. Best buy for your money that's for sure too.

I tried to find the site that had the control arms, but no luck, the search was for "balljoints".
Am wondering now if the Supra control arms would work as they're still in the junkyards with low miles, might have firmer bushings as well, and perhaps help the wandering on the freeway.
I'd like to get some uprated shocks for the front since that's where the extra rebound control would be nice.By using Supra shocks,my choices open up to include Bilstein, and the newer adjustable KYBs.Has anyone tried the adjustable KYBs?

Just the shocks or any of the front suspension? I'd love to grab some supra stuff to throw on my SC! Mucho cheaper!

Great idea
I have a 94 supra tt that I have upgraded the suspension on. The springs have like 40K miles on them. I wonder if they would help my poor 90K mile SC 400? I have a lot of parts just sitting around that I would have fun replacing on the sc4.
