Hey New Neighbors!
The stock "premium" system in my 1993 SC400 stinks... I can't afford to put a new deck and amps in it (because my insurance is $1000 a !!)
Rumor has it that the back deck holds a 10" sub and 4" speakers. The doors are a complete mystery... are those tweeters crossed over anywhere??
If anyone has the details of the system that would be great. Crutchfield shows no information on this car.
Also, how in Heaven's name are you supposed to get the speaker covers off without breaking them??

Rear:
grab bottom edge of rear seat and pull up. You will need to remove the rear seat, (side panels and widow surround panels too if you want to be fussy - otherwise you can muscle out the rear parcel shelf), remove rear parcel shelf - the grills are screwed in from bottom - only the sub grill comes out from the top.
Front:
4inch splits
Remove door trim - window controls pop out from front edge, pop out black panel middle of door release handle, screws in map pocket holding on arm rest, front screws under plastic covers, then door trim will unclip using strong fingers. Only tweeter cover pops off from outside.

i know buddy, I know.
Check out my site at www.mycrobyte.com/lexus if you want to keep you existing head unit and add amps.
I did end up installing a better head unit though, to make room for my Apexi S-AFC.

Your wiring diagram is wrong... a bit.
Looks like you have a couple pins wrong on the speaker out diagram on you web site.
It looks like you flipped the bottom row. It is backward.
Are you sure the amp in is completely right? The RCA's work, but if I put them to 2 different amps I have big problems with the gain. If I turn up the gain on one amp it ruduces it on the other??
What is up with that??
