Can anyone tell what size piping this is?
Straight pipe no resonators or mufflers
Stock piping
Im looking for the sound i got with the muffler/reso delete on my previous GS. However i did loose alot of torque. Im not sure how to go about this now. I could see how i lost power if i used bigger piping but i told the muffler shop to use the stock piping size. I never really bothered to check cause i was really happy with the sound and i got complements everytime i was at a light or pumping gas. (Was told a couple times it sounds like an ls7 with kooks) i just dont know if it was cause of not having any back pressure or bigger piping that made me lose performance. I also would like to know if my 3rd cat can be removed without throwing a code. Or if removing 1 of the can resonators would make the exhaust sound wierd. I am currently piecing a custom vortecj sc together so should i just go with bigger piping anyway? This is for my gs430 Thanks & sorry CL for all the commotion i caused with my last thread my apologies to all.
