No CD Changer on ES 350?
Hi,
On my 2013 ES 350, there does not seem to be a CD changer, just a one-CD player. I have the Premium audio package, but not the Mark Levinson. No "Load" button. So can I conclude it does not have a CD changer? On the Lexus website, it appears to say that the model does have a CD changer....
thx,
Raja

You are right - no CD changer on a 2013 ES with navigation, only a CD player. Without Nav you still get the 6 disk changer. Even the window sticker is a little misleading on this. When I took an early test drive the car did not have nav and I ordered mine with nav assuming I too would have the changer but had it figured out before it arrived. Still nice cars and I probably miss not having the compass in the mirror more than the CD changer.

Yeah, I would have liked the changer. I'm not a huge fan of highly compressed audio, but it appears I'm in the minority.

Like LexRuger said, physical media (6 disk changer) is becoming obsolete. I still have it on my 2010 RX450h and it has the same 6 disks I loaded almost 4 years ago . That's the reason the thinking is one disk is enough. I'm either listening to local talk radio, satellite radio, or my iPod connected through blue tooth (much more music that can be programed). I think I used the changer once to listen to whatever disks are still there (must remember to remove them before selling).
What I would miss in the car if I were to get one are functional things with purpose like the AFS swiveling headlight system connected to the steering. I have it now and love it, but it's gone from the new RX lines.
