just take to where you got it from by law if the state requires one and they sold it to you without one then they need to hand it. im too scared to mount on a fresh bumper.

Oh this is horrible.. I love the south!
Can you use that 3M outdoor tape and carefully tack on the plate somehow? I know..not ideal but you can avoid holes. Then, with goo gone it will come off down the road but hold that plate on tight in between..or, buy the bracket, put the box in the backseat and show it to the officer that you just received it and mounting it soon...brainstorming here..I say F it a d ride without one..its a Lexus LS..you probably won't even get a second look haha
Did you already get a ticket or afraid of getting one..big difference

Here is a link to the TSIB for the '08 license plate mount: http://www.lambros.net/LexusTechInfo...SB-0107-08.pdf
The 2010 models are probably the same. You can order these brackets from the Lexus Online dealers for about $50 (they may be color keyed). If you can get the part #, a Toyota dealer can order it for you for less money.
There are probably lots of these brackets on eBay as most new cars come with one and some states do not require them.

Check for the license plate holder in the spare wheel well. That's where it's normally stored. All LS cars come with it. It's color keyed to match your car. You mount that license plate holder with two self tapping screws. You will see a total of 4 indentations on your front bumper. That's where you mount the holder. You only need to use two. You will need to decide if you want to use the lower or the higher set of holes.
Drill a small hole first and then use the self tapping screws. It's easy to do this yourself.

Regards jmcraney's observation, front plate mounts are not included with cars shipped to the 28 states that
don't require them. They are available from a Lexus parts dept in any market of course. When we do a dealer
trade from a single plate state we have to chase down the bracket.

The spare tire well is where I found mine. I don't use it so I put it in a safer place.
