I find post but not solve my problem. However might help other:
vsc, trac, check engine light all on!
The problem many systems are tied into the Vehicle Stability Control system:
Solution: Take off gas cap and turn back on and listen for ONE CLICK check to make sure it is tight, if not do it again!
Second, pop open the hood, (latch is adjacent to steering column on the left side at the bottom of the dash (two latches one is gas the other hood). Take a small crescent wrench and loosen positive terminal bolt from battery (six to seven turns should do it)
take it off for 30 seconds then place it back on and tighten back on. Turn on engine, if lights did not go off, get a diagnostic check to find the proper code, there are a myriad of problems from a loose electrical connection, to oxygen sensors to brakes, etc.

Hyper is right. Syracuse's approach is is wild shot. The cel is reset by removing +12v but then you cant get it read for a bit. I with hyper, get the codes read.
If something happens right after you take a vehicle for repairs, one should go back. There are dishonest places where they intentionally mess things to create more work, but at times it can be a honest mistake .... like forgetting to tie a ground down or a loose connector near the area they worked on.

Lexus RX300 1999-2003 P0021, P0300, P0304
Yes I did and I post this message here also iin case it might not related:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...300-p0304.html
Lexus RX300 1999-2003 P0021, P0300, P0304
Lexus RX300 1999-2003 Diagnostic in Advance Auto Parts show P0021 Camshaft Position Timing Sensor need to me replaced.
Also:
Misfire P0300,
P0304 CYLINDER 4, 5 AND 6
Symptoms: While driving in about 60 mph feels like transmission does not switch correctly it idle a little then shift like a punch. Never happens before.
If idling on tachometer show less then 1000 rpm and not stable car shaking, rpm move up and down.
Tried solutions:
Replaced Spark plugs;
Replaced Coils on 4, 5, 6
Replaced Camshaft Position Timing Sensor (bought from Pep Boys)
Nothing change!
Same symptoms!
I even removed sensor and start a car for minute and nothing changed.
Guess maybe Pep Boys sold me defective sensor or my problem not relay to all what I did.
Will appreciate help.

Lexus dealer diagnostic vs Free vs Pep Boys $85
So far diagnostic does not help.
Looks like i change it all unless they sold defective sensor but it does not help.
Lexus dealer diagnostic vs Free vs Pep Boys $85 - Who will give better answer?
thank you

Lexus Test Driver
Lexus will definitely be better. I would not let anyone who works at Pepboys near my car.
I suppose you didn't use OEM parts, and that could be part of the problem.

Will pep boys take the sensor back?
If you bought it and replaced it yourself they may not.
Lexus will the expensive rout but you will get it fixed .. most likely on seeing the codes they will replace with oem sensor. Had you looked at this site before, we all ar ein agreement that when it comes to sensors stay with OEM.
