gs300, 2jz-gte important swap details and questions
I tried searching, but just found a bunch of opinions about getting the swap. Im getting a 1st gen aristo clip to put into my 2nd gen gs300. Im keeping the 4 speed auto for now, as this isnt my actual drift car. I also already have a deposit down on my clip, so no turbo kit. I cant find any details on the actual swap. Anybody have a writeup or something useful?
as far as I know, we have to do a lot of wiring and Im not 100% on what driveshaft to use. any other little things i wouldnt expect to convert besides heater core lines? otherwise seems straight forward. but still, i need exact answers so i have eveything needed with no surprises when i actually go to do the swap. wiring diagrams would be appreciated too...
Thanks guys

Ok, I'm doing this as a favor anyone that is interested in boosting their cars. Mods if you can, please keep this in the general 2GS section instead of performance(because most people rarely stray into that sub section) and possibly sticky it in the future when we get several pages of useful info.

lol, im blowin some smoke right now... now remove that ****! my rear sway is going in the trashcan! mine is just unhooked right now, just not bolted in, and clunking around.. sway bars are for suspension tuning, not sliding. i have my own theory on rear sways if you really want to know.. i could try and explain, but its a drifting thing... otherwise, have fun spinning out.. haha
where did you pick up the TRD diff and how much?
