still happening in the Los Angeles area? It's been about a year since I've attended one and I am going through withdrawls. I know Lexus mumbled something about ending these things a while back, but what about Audi, BMW, and Mercedes? I've been to theirs too but haven't heard anything lately. Anyone have anything lined up and some more info?

How did you find out about the last event you attended?

Email from manufacturers. I loved the food in Taste of Lexus.
The largest and best of these events used to be held by GM. It was
called something like Auto Show on Wheels. It featured almost all the GM cars versus the best of the competition. Needless to say, GM shot itself on the foot when they compared Cadillac versus Lexus, MB and BMW! In the same event, they also had a separate area for trucks and another one for SUV's. It was always a well attended 3 day event here in the Metroplex. Lot's of fun!
A friend of mine is working this event on registration, and I was hoping she could get me in, but she said they're not accepting ANY walk-ups, as they have something like 1300 people wanting 500 slots.........so I guess I can't just show up and do it as I didn't get a spot reserved.
So if anyone had a guest spot open or has one open up, PLEASE PM me. I'll be happy to drive to pick you up on the way, etc., etc. I'll be driving down from Santa Monica. Either day works for me.
i was at the AMG event today. the E63 amg was amazing. nothing that big should hanlde this well from the factory and without the optional sport package.
