I was just there last week... he's busy as ***** right now and unless he answered when I called him I couldn't get him to return my txt or voicemails.
I wish I was as busy as he is these days....

If I remember correctly, according to schoolhouse rock, after a bill passes both houses, it is sent to the governer. The governer then decides to pass it (becomes law) or veto it (total, item or amendatory)....so my guess is that its sitting on his desk right now.....hurry up and sign it!!!!

UPDATE: 5-31-9. Another update from Andrea at the Illinois Capitol Office. She tells us that the billed passed again. Speaker Madigan now has 30 days to send it to the Governor, and then the Governor has 60 days to sign or veto the bill.
