Wrinkles? Are you talking about wrinkles in the leather or the outer paint finish? Never heard of getting wrinkles from a car wash on the exterior paint finish. You can get swirls/scratches from improperly washing your car. If you want to avoid swirls/scratches and even more serious damage to your finish then first avoid automatic car washes and wash the car yourself.
When washing use the two bucket method. One bucket full of water and plenty of car wash and have another bucket just full of water for rinsing off your dirty rag/sponge after doing a panel. Use microfiber mits, rags, and towels and don't rub/dry hard or fast, just go lightly and slowly. Wash the car at least once a week or right after the car gets very dirty. The longer you wait the more dirt that builds up and sticks and the more swirls you will get trying to remove it.
Most important have a good protective layer of sealant/wax protection on your car. Having a protective layer creates a smoother slicker finish that the dirt barely sticks to and is easily hosed off which cuts down heavily on swirls/scratches. With soft Lexus clearcoat and a black car you cannot avoid swirls/scratches on a daily driven car but by being careful you can heavily reduce them.
After a while you will need to polish you car to get those swirls/scratches/water spots but that is just a fact of life with black cars with soft clear coats. I highly suggest getting a Porter Cable 7424 and some pads/backing plates/polishes, trust me it will be the best investment you make on keeping your finish looking its best and it is much cheaper in the long run then paying someone to polish it.
Don't stand in the sun too long and rub some oil-of-olay on the surface. Helps with age spots and wrinkles... will make your LS430 look like a new LS460.
No seriously, I have a black LS430 and I can't keep the thing clean for more than three days even in my garage. Black is a dust/dirt/scratch magnet and everything that clings on (not Klingon) you see. Every little scratch, smudge, swirl, imperfection, you will see.
If you have the time and can prime, then I would say invest in a hand buffer (like the one suggested previously) and some good waxes and detail your car yourself. For me, I get it "professionally" detailed once a year. I wash the car no less than once a month (winter months more often), and wax every three to four months in between. I've used everything from ICE, Turtle Wax original, Mcquire, to other "store brands" and honestly, none to me is any better or worse than others.
Just use a nice soft micro-fiber pad and towels to clean and buff and you'll do fine.

I agree 100%. I have never owned a black car and now I have 2. After I bought my IS250, I bought a PC kit from a vendor on CL....as stated above, one of the best investments I ever made to keep the exterior finish looking it's best.
