Now put it against a real 1 liter and see what happens
i don't think it would make much difference. the braking and cornering ability of 4 big sticky tires vs. 2 skinny sticky tires is too much for the straight line speed of any bike to overcome when it comes to lap times on a long track.
very intersting comparison though, i've always wondered what would happen in a situation like that.

Too bad bikes don't work that way There's a reason they have round tires. They also have better braking capability than cars. 1 liter bikes are faster around tracks than all but the fastest track cars.

hmmm... not to sound like a smart *** but if you watched the video, the bike had nowhere near the braking nor cornering ability as the GTR. when the GTR was leading, it was able to brake much later and harder, causing the bike to almost rear end the car at certain points.
the duc has the ohlins suspension and brembo brakes which are upgrades from what liter bikes have stock so i don' tsee a liter bike doing much better than the duc against the gtr.
