I just received a check today for my wheel and tire damage to my MOMO wheel from this past March. I called once every two months to check the status of my claim. It was a hard long process. You have to get a police report, pictures, find a hidden link on the web-site for a phone number, then contact the respective field office (in my case Schaumburg) and request a claim form. I did receive a letter last month stating it was not their fault and I said "F" that and called back and they re-opened my claim and subsequently sent a form for me to fill out releasing them from further liability. Persistence pays off. I hope this thread finds those who have made a claim well. Keep up on it and it will prevail. Needless to say, after my incident, a month later, Archer was all repaved on the whole stretch that was pothole alley.
It was Archer in unincorporated Lemont between Rt 83 (Kingery Highway) and Bell Rd. It was completely repaved right after my incident. I am now "Gun-shy" of potholes and bad roads.
man dont even get me started about potholes. Last year golf rd was my worst enemy. Im sad to say that golf rd got the best of me. I like how they repave the roads just in time for winter to mess them up again. Got to love those unions!

Illinois has the worst roads in the country and we all can thank Springfield and the politics for this. No offense to any members who are employed by K5 or other state run road crews, but they design the roads to last only a year or so and constantly need repair, thus, constant road jobs and contracts going to nepotism.
I'm still waiting for IDOT to send something. Did you receive the full amount. I had to end up buying a new OEM rim cause my was bent pretty bad. Not sure if I would be getting the full amount of the rim or just partial.

I received the full amount of the wheel and told IDOT that lucky for them, my brand new tire was covered under warranty.
This time I will attack the streets with a "Highly Modified" 2003 Hyandai Santa Fe AWD with fancy 16" wheels, painted calipers... 10 pot, and many H-Sport upgrades such as suspension, highering springs, chassis brace, frigid cold-air intake, H-Sport exhaust........okay this is lame and we all have our dreams.......
