IS-F: BC Racing Coils 14K/10K
I am selling BC Racing Coils that were recently taken off my 2009 ISF (replaced by KWs). They were purchased mid June 2010 and have a little under 8,000 miles on them. No track use. There are no issues/noises/sounds with these coils. They were as good as new when I took them off last week. Installed and taken off by Tommy in El Monte.
This setup maintains the sporty feel of the car while being much more comfortable than stock on bad roads. I am trying KWs because I want a little more comfort on bad freeways without giving up too much in the handling department.
$800 OBO.
I am in West Los Angeles. If you are not local PM me and I will work with you on shipping cost.
Here are some pics of the coils and well as some shots of my car so you can see the height they are set at.

This is off topic but how much of a difference is there between these coils and the kws? Did you get the V3s? I had the V3s on my STI and they were great for conering and comfort (as comfortable as coilovers could be). Can you go super low on the kws?

Yes, these BC coils are still available. Right now they are only listed here and on local cragslist. If they are still available by the end of the week I will put them on ebay.
The height I had them set to (shown in the pics) is a very conservative drop. They go MUCH lower. BC says 3" lower from stock which would not be practical at all in my opinion.
The BCs are much better than the stock IS-F suspension. The stock setup always felt wrong to me, unnecessarily harsh. The BCs are much smoother while being stiff enough to keep the sporty feel of the car without beating you up on a bad road.
KW supports a narrow height range. They are not meant for dropping the car to the ground. When you change the height of KWs you are changing the spring travel. BC height adjustment does not affect spring travel.
I haven't finished dialing the KWs in yet, but so far I love them. I think going from stock to BC is a huge improvement. From BC to KW is further improvement, but is not as big as the jump from stock to BC.
