Wait, are they 9006 bulbs, or are they HID D2R (which Lexus uses) bulbs?

If they are 9006, what wattage are they?

Who makes the bulbs and who makes the ballasts? If they are 9006-compatible, then they are rebased bulbs. Who rebased them? I think you mean "HB4" not H4. HB4 = 9006 and H4 = 9003. They are completely different types of bulbs. Relays aren't "neccessary" per se, but I STRONGLY recommend them if you're using an HID kit. They are used to draw the high current during primary ignition to save the alternator from major strain.
