I believe JZS161 is the current gen GS400, and the JZS160 is the current GS300.

Are suspension components actually specific to 300/400 vehicles though?

i think jzs161 refers to the japanese V300
and jzs160 refers to s300 which is the same as the GS300 here

Dale has gone back to live in Japan. ShinKai Racing is no more, but we can still get the parts that Dale brought to the states. He is now my technical and procurement advisor.

Umm... I always thought JZS161 was the body/frame style for 98-up GS all together ? I ve always been told that in stores because that how they look up parts for the GS under the car number JZS161.... unless Im mistaken which makes the stores are wrong toO..?

in a way, everyone is correct....from 98 and on, the 2nd gen aristo is coded jzs16x...160is for na/nonturbo, and 161 is for the turbo model...
