Selling my 01 GS300 Tranny W/ Valve Body Upgrade
I'm installing the R154 5 speed, selling my perfect working order automatic, this tranny has 48,000 miles. I just installed the Toyomoto valve body upgrade, this cuts the 1/4 mile times down by over 1/2 second!! It shifts hard and fast. Also it just had a new fluid change too. $350.00 OBO.. must get it out of my garage.

Do you guarante this to be a good working no problems doesn't slip or chatter tranny? Does it come with the converter? If so I would be very interested. Im located in Tampa, not to far from you.

Yes it's a direct fit. Yes I guarantee it to work, I'm fairly new here but I've been in the supra community since 1996. My old shop Auto Tuner built Hogans green Supra. I just wanted to point out im a well known guy thats never ripped anyone off in over 10 years in the community.
Here is what you can expect with this tranny, don't expect a luxury feel, it will shift hard. Even when you back out of your garage my car sometimes chirps the tires when I first put it in reverse. This is actually easier on the tranny though, heat is a automatics enemy and with this mod, the tranny will no longer have that luxury slipping feeling between gears which is not good for the transmission. I reccomend a tranny cooler too, I have one that I'll sell for about $120.00 or so. It has a electric fan on it to help cooling.
BTW 1-2 shifts aren't effected with this mod, 2-3, 3-4, and 4-5 are. 1-2 shifts pretty much like stock, the line pressure has been turned up but its still not nearly as hard or fast as the other gears. Still there was a comuuter log somewhere that showed shifts are made 37% faster saving over 1/2 second in the 1/4 mile with this mod the way it is.
Torque converter is included too.
$80.00 shipping is probably about right, if it goes over I'll pick it up.

I'm going for big power.. 700+RWHP I need a strong tranny, I have seen the R154's dyno over 800RWHP so that seems to be my most cost effective option. The stock auto can be built but I've heard of them breaking at 700RWHP, plus the manual will be a blast to drive on the street in the GS300.
