F/S - Mean Gene's Old GS4
Gang - Well, some of ya'll may remember me as one of the original CL Electronics Moderators ( hey, Pete & Percy!! ) My ex-wife asked me to help her sell MY old GS400 so here goes:
1999 GS400 with SRT Race ECU/CAI; Borla mufflers; PI Dragon T/C; RMM 3.76 LSD differential; RMM grill,CF engine cover & strut tower brace; Hose Techniques coolant & vacumn hoses; Eibach Sport Drop w/TRD struts; Eibach F&R sway bars; TRD lower chassis brace; 18" chrome Zenetti Vegas w/Nitto Extremes; SRT drilled & slotted rotors ( factory sized ) & TRD cosmetics underhood. The car has 72k miles on it & has been maintained ( mostly ) by myself using Mobil 1 lubricants & TorqueMaster plugs. It still drives solidly & ran a best quartermile of 13.79 @ 102.3 mph when it had 40k miles on it. Of course, the foundation for the stereo is still in it BUT some of the equipment's been removed. I have some of the removed stuff ( kick panels & Focals ) but the rest can be replaced with newer products. I think I still have some Member photos in the Gallery but since my original profile has been deleted, I'm not sure. She/we'd like to get $28k for the car & I'll be glad to throw in all the original stuff that I still have ( wheels/tires, air intake, etc ). I'll be handling the sale as best I can so feel free to PM me as needed. It's nice to be back home with the CL family even though I have a G35 now.

Hey Gene, good to hear from you!
Something wrong with your old account login? It hasn't been deleted, looks fine when I just checked it out.
I may have missed it in the post - whats the asking price? We need to put that on all the sale stuff here, thanks Nevermind I see it, $28K

Gene, haven't seen you on here for a while.
I hope you're enjoying your G35 but sad the GS has to leave the family ...
If you do decide to part out the GS, please PM me -- Got some items that I would be interested in.
Best of luck to your sale and stick around ClubLexus!

0-60's
Future - Yep, she ran consistent 5.2's with an occasional 5.1. She launches best when brake-torqued to around 2200 rpms & then using the E-shift about 500 rpms before redline. FYI - that run was done in March so it was relatively cool here in Louisiana & with low humidity. I had some dyno sheets posted around here somewhere but I forget the thread! I remember her putting out 341+ flywheel HP ( using an 80% efficiency correction factor ). Kinda hate to see her go but it's even harder to see her NOT be run hard like I did when married. FWIW - the GS is a superior car for long distance touring but my G35 would be my pick for everyday driving & twisty roads. When I get back home I'll post pics of my newest ryde ( complete with stereo ( of course!! ), engine, tranny & suspension mods ). And yes, I HAVE raced the 2 cars. My son drove the GS while I piloted the G35. I had the Lexus by over 2 car lengths until around 120 mph when the superior breathing of the V-8 started showing. I've also run the G35 down the quarter ( w/o the nitrous ) & ran a best time of 13.31 @ 107+. Need to get the rest of my gauges mounted before I squeeze the V-6.

Very interesting...
Thanks for the info Gene! Is your G35 a coupe or sedan? I assume a six speed coupe to get those kind of 1/4 mile numbers! You must have some serious mods on it to pull two car lengths on the GS to 120 mph

G35 Coupe
Nope - my G's an A/T BUT with a 3k rpm T/C & valve body recalibration. I've taken it about as far N/A as I can so I'm saving for a S/C ( most likely ) or possibly a T/T. My G has a CAI; larger throttle body; modified plenum; complete Borla exhaust ( headers/test pipes & true duals ); & an ECU reflash. It's been dropped 1" w/Teins & has 18" iForged wheels ( 8" F / 10" R ). Like the GS4 I have Eibach sways & in anticipation for the F/I ( & present nitrous setup ), I've upgraded the brakes to Wilwoods ( 14.25" slotted & vented rotors w/ 6 piston calipers up front & 4 piston rear ). Next up is an LSD.
There's a few of us over at my350z.com & G35Driver.com. Remember Marcus ( TXSTYLE ) & Rick ( Dr. Rick )? I've even seen 1SICKLEX visiting ( & stirring up the locals!! They're alot more hardcore over there than my old CL family. Maybe it's because performance parts for a Nissan/Infiniti are a little more common & affordable than those for the Lexus? Anyway, it's good to hear from all of ya'll & thanks for remembering me ( & welcoming me back )!! .
Don't forget the point of this visit is to SELL THE GS4!!!!!!!
