Thumbs up LF-S, LF-C, LF-A, LF-Sh, hybrids, V-10s, what a time to be here!

Wow, seems Lexus is really trying to turn it up a notch. We've been hit with tons of new concepts and now finally, after SUVS like mad , some CARS!!!

Who would have thunk this in 1989?

Its a great time to be a Lexus enthusiast, a very exciting time. While maintaining top quality and ownership experience and tops in sales in the USA.

Lexus is now rolled out in Japan.

Lexus is coming with its first diesal for Europe.

Lexus is showcasing its first V-10

Lexus has the first luxury hybrid V-6s and soon, V-8.

Lexus is competing WELL in racing, with wins and strong finishes.

The new GS is here, the new IS is here

Lexus has its first AWD system

Ain't it grand Kudos to our leaders at Lexus, they really have done a great job thus far and the new leaders seem to be doing a great job so far taking Lexus to the NEXT level.

I just thought about it, Lexus has hit us in the head with MANY technical innovations, no matter if first or joining others.

AFS (adaptive headlights that turn in your direction)
Keyless systems
Push button start
Dual VVTi
Better Power and Better Fuel Economy
Arguably the best NAV
Back up Cameras
The highest quality car is a HARDTOP CONVERTIBLE!!
The rear Ultra Luxury package in the current LS 430
More wood and leather options than before
A strong aftermarket following
6 in dash CD
I-pod capability
Rain Sensing wipers
Automatic shut trunks
VDIM (even though loathed, a BIG technological acheivement)
Pre-collision technology

Yes, Lexus is doing an outstanding job right now. They are simply just roasting the competition. Stick a fork in all of them.

Dont forget about parent company Toyota as well. They arent playing games as well. Acquired Subaru, new and highly improved Camry, Rav4, and Yaris coming next year. New FULL-size trucks next year, redesign of just about all trucks as well, Hybrids, and many other things.

Jeez, its just sick.....with so much more to come. I'm glad I'm a Toyota/Lexus fan.

Seems the only thing left to do is to offer a V12 LWB LS sedan and an entry-level coupe and convertible.

Not trying to start anything, but when we had that Brand/Prestige thread, Lexus is definitely getting there.
I think Acura and Infiniti may be left in the dust now

The new V8 hybrids and V 10s are making my heart skip a beat here

Yes, I hope Lexus then will have the V12s.

Aren't the IS working on a coupe and a convertible?

Not to mention...

New safety features:
Twin chambered airbags
Knee airbags
VDIM systems

And coming up, Lexus promises...
"More customization than ever before"...

To me, the LS is the trailblazer for the company, and now that the new LS exterior looks so sweet, I can't wait to see what bold new and successful directions the Lexus Division will take..

1Sick, you forgot about the best sound system with Mark Levinson 6 in dash DVD with DTS, Dolby Digital enhance 7.1 surround, the best in the industry.

Och, the LX450/470 and the GS470 are not the AWD system. They're a true 4x4 system and a true off roader. The AWD system is partial off road and can't compare the AWD to the 4x4.

Good points! Yeah, class leading sound systems. Its amazing how today, other car makers now pay serious attention to their audio systems. Lexus again, brought this to peoples attention

Also, not just more fuel efficient ...

But also more eco-friendly. Lexus' emphasis on lower emissions and reduced environmental impact means we can often have our cake and eat it too.

5.5 to a 5.7 litre V12 I can see sometime soon, along with an optional mated Hybrid Synergy Drive that will have the perfomance of a V16!!!, and fuel efficiency of a 4.6 litre V8......yikes!!!! mann I wish , but at the same time I would not be surprised! Afterall this is just the begining, as for the rivals.....well good luck to them!
